On April 19, 2018 I called AAA & they dispatched Thompson's Towing & Automotive Repair Center I was over my number of allowed calls so Thompson's quoted me a rate of $200 to tow my car to NJ which was 51.9 miles from the drop off location. I agreed with the rate but low & behold my credit card was charged $389. $65 tow fee, $260 mileage & 64 for extra person because my daughter was with me. NONE of the extra fees were ever discussed. THEN on top of all of that I have a Mercedes Benz and the driver LOST my piece that you hook up the tow bar. I LITERALLY called the owner TEN times to discuss this and to date he has NEVER returned my call. This is my first review I have EVER written but if I could I would l LOVE to save someone the headache & financial rip off that I experienced. PLEASE DO NOT TRUST THEM!!! I DIDN'T even want to give them one star but I had to because it wouldn't let me post the review. As a business owner all you have is your name, your word & you character & Thompson's Towing & Auto Repair DOES NOT OPERATE WITH INTEGRITY!!! This is my first of 389 reviews I will be posting regarding my HORRIBLE SERVICE received with this company. My question to you Mr Jerry Thompson the owner is "What is the cost of a customer to you"? Next I will be taking out an article and contacting the BBB!!!

These people are the WORST. I equested service through AAAA on November 6, 2017 for my vehicle to be towed from Aberdeen to Arlington, VA to the Mercedes Benz Dealership. And they sent this Horrible towing company. The guy came at 6:38am to hook up my car. I took pictures before he hooked it up. He was very mean, rude and in a rush. Around 930am on my way to work in a Uber, i received a call stating that my car was totaled. I immediately was appalled asking how. And I literally started crying. According to the Service Manager at the dealership, the guy who totaled my car, didnt strap my car properly and the Strap broke, which caused my car to smash. I was sent pictures and the dealership said they couldnt work on my car because my whole front end was smashed in. They stated the driver admitted his wrong and provided his company information. I called the company and they avoided me for the longest stating their owner Jerry Thompson was in meetings all day. I had to go up there after work just to find him. No remorse was shown and he was a complete liar and very arrogant. My car is paid off and they didnt care. Stating his drivers never want to work or call out. Like thats an excuse to total my car. Their Insurance company Brethern Mutual came to look at my car Thursday November 9th and considered it totaled it out to be $1170.00. Not considering the fact it was my only car and thats not even enough for a down payment on a another car. So what my car had 305k miles and was in Fair condition with barely a scratch, its the fact, it was MY CAR. DO NOT trust this company with your Car. Theyre the most Unprofessional, Lying people Ive ever seen in my Life! And I will be putting this review on other sites along with pictures!!!!!! Im so pissed!

did great work but charged me an hour labor for diagnosis that probably took 15 minutes. In my mind, should of taken that time not used and credited towards the repair labor. The mark up on parts was extermly high. Probably would not go back.

I totally trust the guys at Thompson's. They are always friendly and helpful and go out of their way to accommodate. An awesome service station and reliable, easy place to rent a clean, affordable, comfortable car. I recommend them without question.
