I got to know the maintanance staff more than anyone there at Churchill Commons. The office people were business nice, but I wouldn't say they were truly concerned about my concerns. I had a roach crawl across my baby's crib the first day. They fixed it. My power bill was sky high. Despite my many complaints, I was told that you are to budget $150 for the bill. Some residents weren't paying half my amount. Come to find out a bird's nest blocked the dryer vent. That helped, buy my heat and a/c unit was the main problem. It wouldn't heat over 72 degrees or cool lower than 74. That is with it running all day. The water heater has to be turned up to it's highest degree in order to get that which just cost more money. After a routine check, they forgot to turn the water back on. Kind of tough to make a bottle with no water. Woke up the next morning freezing b/c they forgot to turn the water heater on, too. Still waiting on my promised "gift certificate". Go elsewhere.

Overall reasonable accomodations for the price. I had 2BR2BA unit on the second level that was in need of some minor repairs because of age but nothing severely distressing. Quiet and restful surroundings for the most part despite location behind highschool and proximity of main streets. By the same token, location is very convenient to shopping, work (SRS) and recreational activities ( ballroom dancing, martial arts, and bowling). Would definitely recommend. Staff was very friendly and responsive. Wish that they had online rent payment instead of ONLY paper checks but that is the only complaint based on my experience.
