Established in 1964, Mohawk Ambulance Service provides emergency medical services and transportation services. It serves the counties of Albany, Schenectady, Troy and Brunswick. The company services include emergency, non-emergency transportation, long distance transportation wheelchair van transportation, basic and advanced life support. The ambulance van is equipped with a computer-aided dispatch system and a GPS tracking system. Mohawk Ambulance Service employs 33 ambulances, fly cars and wheelchair vans for customer services. American Heart Association certifies courses offered by Mohawk Ambulance services.
