i.e.I am extremely concerned about this offices treatment of animals based on their treatment of humans. While I wish I had a better report on a veterinary office that I thought cared about spaying and neutering animals I can not say that I do. I had been told that they have vouchers given to them by the humane society to help people who can not afford to have their animal neutered. Because my husband is in graduate school and we have four small children I was very relieved that there was a service such as this for the stray that we had taken in. When I called, the person who answered the phone was extremely rude. She asked how much we could pay and I said, Well I m not sure, not very much. She said that if I couldn t tell her how much I could pay then she couldn t help me and hung up the phone. So I called back and ask if I could speak with someone else. She said that she was the only one who handeled this sort of thing. She told me she would take my name and number and call me back. I said, that will be fine may I please have your office managers name. She hung up on me again. So I called back a third time and she put me through to him. I explained what had happened and although he was nicer in tone, he made excuses for her behavior. Based on their treatment of humans, I would not chance taking my animal to them, free spaying and neutering or not. I have to question the judgement of a veterinarian who would hire such rude office staff. Had I been treated nicely I would have considered making them my vet for shots and medicines etc. It s actually a blessing that this sort of treatment happened to me instead of my animal who can not speak up for himself., A local favorite, or highly recommended because
