- CarpetingA comprehensive design for the remodel of an historic downtown hotel. Guest rooms and bathrooms were reconfigured and combined to allow for additional amenities; public spaces were updated and redefined for a more urbane clientele. The historic elements were retained and enhanced; the original Moorish/Andalusian features were highlighted to create an exotic theme for the hotel. The project incorporated all facets of design for reception, lobby, restaurant, lounges, meeting rooms, exhibit space, guest rooms, corridors and other public spaces including initial concept, dimensioned drawings and specifications for room layouts, customized furnishings, fixtures, lighting, carpeting and architectural detailing.

- New ConstructionA former private school campus was transformed into a compound of private legal offices including conference rooms and landscaped courtyards. Divided into phases, Phase One enabled the medium size firm to inhabit their new facility. The existing structures were modernized and incorporated with new construction which addressed the firm's evolving operations. Phase 2 has been designed to better utilize the site and introduce energy saving features using sustainable construction techniques.

- Retaining WallsTerraced stairs, patios and gardens are integrated in this landscape design, grounding the steep terrain and connecting the site with the angular movement of the house's architecture. Distinct areas are given identity yet remain a part of the whole; a meditation area shares space with a flower garden, retaining walls anchor the design to the building's architecture; terraces, gardens, walls and water fit together like a puzzle.
- PatiosWhile respecting its regional character, this home was updated for entertaining and gracious living. It was redesigned to seem both modern and traditional, feature the owner's collection of art and beautiful things, connect to the landscaped patios and courtyards, and offer ample opportunity to utilize all the newly renovated and furnished interior spaces which were resized and reconfigured to present a seamless connection to the home's inherent integrity.
