I burned worse than I ever have before and have a rash all over my body that is red & itchy from this tanning salon. I would not recommend going here!

DEFINITELY the cleanest tanning salon in the surrounding area! They have over 20 some rooms so I have never had to wait for a bed unlike other salons in the area where I usually have at least a 20 minute wait! The rooms and whole boutique is so clean its amazing! The staff is the absolute nicest as well! The manager is so friendly too, always greets me by name and always asks me how my day is going, I would never dream of tanning anywhere else now! They have so many other products outside the tanning as well its amazing!

Best tanning salon around! The staff is super friendly and helpul, lots of tanning bed options and great prices, nearly any tanning lotion you would want, and tanning beds that get you dark fast! What more could you ask for?! The salon even leaves a little mint or lollipop in your bed to take home, I wouldn't go anywhere else! South Beach ROCKS!

South Beach Tanning is by far the best Tanning Salon in the Altoona Area!!!! You will be amazed when the minute you walk through the doors!!!! The largest selection of tanning lotions, tanning beds, Vera Bradley and much more!!! You have to see it to believe it!!!!

The first and last time that I went to South Beach, the beds still had sweat marks on them- the staff was just rude, they should just sell vera bradley. These beds were used when south beach purchased them from a salon that went out of business. They think that having the x10 is so great, when in reality it is just a bigger bed, with the almost the same amount of voltage as the x7- just a way to make more money from customers that don't know the difference. The staff had no knowledge about the beds, they should consider not hiring high school aged girls.

Best place to tan in Altoona!! They are very clean, the staff are so helpful, and the beds are the best ive seen so far for this area. I've never burnt once in their beds and i have fair skin, plus i got a really nice tan. Once you go here, you wont want to go anywhere else. The prices are on the high end but they usually always have some type of sale, such as buy one get one 50% off. Def worth it!! : )

The beds here have great bulbs and are comfortable. I see instant results that are long lasting every time. The beds and boutique(by the door) are both very clean in great shape. The only downside is they can be pricey, but you can always stock up on tans when they have their buy one get on 50% off.

Tooooooo expensive and not all is is cracked up to be. You are paying for the name and the overhead. The beds really dont get you as dark as they claim too. From my experience any tanning salon does the job if not better for a fraction of the cost hands down.

South Beach is AMAZING!! Honestly, I was amazed when I walked through the doors! I really cant even put into words! So clean, has everything a tanner would want and more! This is def. what Altoona needed in the area! Beds are brand new and has about 7 different types of beds with a few extra things added in :) Prices are fantastic, not overprices like all of the other salons around here!! I didn't want to leave. Huge selection of tanning lotions. Nicest workers!! And its not just tanning, they have body lotions and fun stuff for kids! DEF. CHECK OUT SOUTH BEACH TANNING SPA!!! Gonna put every other tanning salot outta business. I will continue to go back here! LOVE ITTT!!!
