The last thing you want to deal with when you are grieving over your most dearest loved one, is a difficult employee who cannot simply make the process of buying your mother’s headstone as smooth as a transition as possible. At Dalton’s Memorial, that’s exactly what you will get as soon as the bill is paid. Kim has made this process frustrating and unbearable. She is unprofessional and rude to say the least. She answered almost all of our correspondence late. She got the mock up done late. She didn’t explain that if my brother, who was helping us pay for the bill, signed the receipt, he would have to give final approval and word, even though I prepared, communicated, and was charged by the family to finalize the headstone. Unfortunately for us, my brother was hospitalized with a severe comma and has not been able to reach out to her. Once he finally did through e-mail, Kim began ignoring all communication from us, despite us signing paperwork and paying their business over 3,000 dollars. It has been months in the making, and we still have no idea when a headstone will be approved and installed at the grave site. Avoid this business all together, and do not work with KIM.

I have worked with Dalton's for a couple of years now and they are first class people! They care about each individual and deliver what they promise. In Utah County, they are the only company that does laser engravings (they have 3 machines). They also are the only company to offer permanent color inlays. What's incredible is, that they offer great service, quality and are still well below the "normal price" of other monument companies. I give them 5 stars without hesitation!
