      Founded in 1978, Northwest Medical specializes in performing minor surgeries, such as vasectomies, skin biopsies and sigmoidoscopies. The center has a radio surgery unit that offers treatment for the removal of moles, warts and small spider veins. It also provides weight management program for patients who are overweight either moderately or seriously. Northwest Medical offers on-call services for after-hours emergencies and voicemail systems for requesting prescription refills. The center is a preferred provider for the BlueCross BlueShield Association and Aetna. Northwest Medical provides 24-hour telephone consulting services. Its staff includes board-certified physicians, registered nurses and assistants. Northwest Medical is located in Anchorage, Alaska.
