Williwaw Elementary School is a learning facility that serves more than 400 students in kindergarten through grade five. The school offers classes in math and language arts. It is managed by the Anchorage School District, which serves over 50,000 students in elementary, charter, vocational, middle and high schools. The district s schools provide opportunities to participate in a selection of athletic activities, such as cheerleading, basketball, baseball, flag football and bowling. The Anchorage School District s schools also offer instruction in fine arts, physical education, science, social studies and world language. The district s schools manage booster clubs and libraries, as well as provide guidance counseling services.
