Don't waste your time with this place if you want great customer service. First of all, there's no direct line to the store. The listed number is to Sandy's (the owner) cell and he often doesn't answer and his mailbox is full. I finally got through today to ask Steve a question about submitting coins to PCGS (He had volunteered some information about it a few months back and I was calling back to confirm what he'd said). Sandy's response was "I'm not paying Steve a salary to help you with your PCGS submission" and hung up on me. I've purchased several items from them before so it's not like I was trying to get something free out of them, not to mention I was simply going to ask Steve to repeat the information he'd provided to me previously.

The workers seem very nice and knowledgeable, and gave me good $$$ for my coins! I'll be back!

I inherited a boatload of coins from my father after he passed away not too long ago. I shopped my collection around to a few other stores on the east coast. After selling my CDs at CDepot in College Park, I was referred to visit Common Cents in Annapolis. Not only did I receive the highest quote for my dad's coin collection, but I was also treated very well. Highly recommended.

I walked into this store after visiting 2 others in the area. I was not treated bad at the others but certainly made to feel I was small potatoes. The person working at this store listened and answered all my questions. I made it known I was only looking for a coin or 2 a year but felt treated like I was the most important person to visit. I ended up buying 2 coins for $3-4 a coin lower than the other 2 places and was given some great advice on handling and storage. Will be back anytime I want something in the metals or coin market. A great learning experience and treated right.
