My daughter has attended Peace Montessori in Apex for going on three years now. She loves going to school and misses her teachers and friends during summer break and other school breaks. I have no doubt she would not be at the same level she is now if she was enrolled in public school. She gets excited about doing independent research projects and learning as much as she possibly can. The teachers at Peace Montessori treat the students with respect and as a result the students respect and admire their teachers. I've had kids at Peace continuously since it opened in 2003. It has been a completely positive experience for my children, more than preparing them for kindergarten. I would wholly recommend (and have, many times!!) Peace Montessori to any family... unless you're a control-freak helicopter parent who has to have perfect little cookie-cutter artworks every day... because you won't be getting that. If you want a courteous, independent, self-regulating child who can work at his or her own pace, then Peace is the place for you.
