I just wanted to write a quick thank you. Crystal words can’t begin to express the gratitude my family and myself have. You are truly a blessing with your knowledge and patience ( With my crazy pit and 3 kids) I was amazed how involved you got my children and how much fun you made class the kids actually looked forward to dog class every week. The kids keep asking when Miss Crystal is coming back over, When can we start basic? I think Monday’s would work well for us again if that day is still available?

I hired Crystal to do what I believed to be impossible, to help my rescue dog Ginger, to not be petrified of every person she came into contact with. Ginger was beat often by her former owner. Other trainer's I hired failed. So I didn't have much faith in yet another try. I noticed right away Crystal has a unique and different approach than I had seen before. And surprisingly it was effective. I'm extremely happy and grateful to finally find someone who could truly help, She also offers boarding services so my family and I can finally leave Ginger without any worries thanks again Crystal.

Helping Dogs With People Problems Since 2002

General Info
Puppies go through well-defined developmental stages. Puppy classes are designed to utilize the sociability of young puppies. However, the socialization period of dogs end's at around 12-14 weeks of age. Up to that age, puppies can readily learn not to fear new things, and to develop appropriate social behavior. If this opportunity to shape puppy behavior is missed, the puppies are likely to show behavior disturbances later in life. Therefore, in order to maximize the benefits of puppy classes, puppies should be enrolled at 7-10 weeks of age if possible, the sooner the better.
