Terrible service. Very slow, very unhelpful. Cars are dirty and the drivers are even dirtier. Tried twice to see if the first time was a mistake, second time was even worse. No way I'd ever use this service again.

I live in Flatwoods and needed to get my son to School and called Safeway Taxi which is located in Flatwoods and the person that answered first hung up on me so I called back and she informed me that since they are in Ashland it would cost me $14 to take him 1 1/2 miles if that. So I called Ashland Taxi which is located in Ashland and he said it'd be $12 for the ride and offered me a cheaper route which was to call my local taxi service (being Safeway Taxi) when i told him their response he offered to even lower his own price to $10 and would do his best to get to us as quickly as possible. I was truly disappointed in Safeway Taxi and will no longer use their services... And. I am very pleased with Ashland Taxi..

I called at 12 midnight for a 1am pick up to be at work at 2 am. He called me at 12:55 and said he was leaving flatwoods to pick me up in catlettsburg. He didn't arrive at my house till 1:50. I know it doesnt take 55 minutes from flatwoods to.catlettsburg. he almost caused me to be late for work. And also had a kid riding with him and the radio blasting. These people need to learn how to run buisness.

Yesterday I worked 8am to 12am 16 hours, called them at 12, I was told he was in Huntington it would be a bit, but as soon as he got in Ashland he'd call me back and would come pick me up, so 2am two hours later I called back, he told me he was in Ironton at the rail he was taking them to Ashland plaza and would be right to pick me up. An hour later at 3am, I called back said he just made it to Ashland he was stuck behind a wreck, at 3:34 he called me said he was by kings daughters with a flat tire nail in tire, I asked if they had another taxi running and went to explain how long I've been waiting, he hangs up on me, so I called back, he immediately began yelling at me about how bad his day has been and now he's stuck with flat tire and he doesn't know what to do cause he's not a mechanic, asks me to bare with me and he'd be there as soon as he can, I said ok hung up and called Safeway, explained my situation, he managed to pick me up quickly and I was climbing in bed at 4:06. Good thing I had to get right back up and head back to work taking care of people with developmental disabilities very stressful, wish I didn't have to give this taxi any stars.

Called at 5:15 am and said my car doors were frozen and I needed to get to work. He said he'd be here in 45 minutes, I had to call back an hour later and he said he was now in Huntington and it would be another 30 minutes at least. I had to call another taxi service. Had he even called me back when he realized he had to go that far away, I could have called the other place sooner and made it to work on time. Very unprofessional and unreliable.

Called them on 1-25-13 and they said they would pick me up from the airport and 3 hours later they did not show up and would not answer my phone calls. They left me stranded and I had to rent a car after all that waiting! Worse service ever!!

Ashland Taxi has old, dirty cabs. They take two hours to pick you up, but they'll tell you 20 minutes. I won't ride with them again.

Very friendly service, short wait time. If ever in Ashland, KY and need a ride, call them. Thumbs up!!
