My family visited the Discovery Museum on Aug 4, 2010, using an ACM Reciprocal Membership. Ages 57, 36, 32, 5, 2.75 and 4 months. We were disappointed in the museum. The museum is 1 story. Most of the displays felt crowded and were 2-dimensional in contrast to other kids museums. The touch tank was a murky mess; couldn't see animals in it. The tree tower and slide area could only hold 1-2 kids at a time and there was only one way up.The music area had a real piano and drums.. but was so tight... we couldn't all fit in and have a jam session. The lunch room was tiny; it had 2 picnic tables shoved against the wall.My mom thought the staff was overbearing and putting toys back so they could get home. They had a small plastic basket where you could voluntarily put toys your kids had tried to eat so they could be "properly washed". This left us wondering how often things are sanitized here. Bored in 90 min. :( Admission price was steep for non members especially given how little they had.
