I have given this store three chances and am now looking for a new source for the real foods we can't get at Shaw's and Hannaford. Harvest time sells Horizon (a terrible company) butter for $8/lb. Ridiculous!! When I stated this the woman behind the counter said they have to charge that as they are a small business. Bull hockey to that too!! Spices are the only reasonable product there as cosmetics are anywhere from $3- $10 more than in other stores like this one. Today we went in to find some things and they loudly started vacuuming and shut off the lights as they would rather close than make a sale. I guess they are not concerned with sales or making customers happy. You just lost this one. You are profiteering off people trying to live right and you should be ashamed of yourselves!! I will be spreading the word that there are far better sources through stores in Bath and Portland as well as CSA's and Farmer's Markets.

This store would be so much better if they cleaned house on the unfriendly, and quite frankly-rude staff, and replaced them with informative, friendly people. This is the only store in central Maine where I can buy my herbs, and I dread going there because of how I've been treated by their staff. Several people I know also have the same complaints. Lose the attitude or lose your customers!!!

Great place! The location is great and the staff is very helpful! They have steered us un the right direction 3 times whilst looking for supplements to aid in health problems. Selection is good but produce is a little bit lacking....it is hard to get good produce in Maine except locally in season.
