Thanks to Patricia and Kathleen for helping me find the dress of my dreams. You were so patient with me and my bridesmaids. I was happy with the alterations and VERY happy with the price of my dress. I am going to stop in with my best friend who is looking for her wedding dress and I'll bring in my pictures so you can see how amazing I looked. I couldn't have done it without all of you.

Patricia Buck is the really only game in Maine when it comes to a decent selection of designer dresses. I had a great time shopping for my dress, and not being accosted by sales people the way I was at David's Bridal (that place is tacky and terrible!!). I found a gorgeous dress in stock, and my alterations went smoothly. HOWEVER, it is a terribly disorganized business - my mother and I were double-charged for alterations because the employees could not find the index card with my information on it that proved we'd already paid! (Perhaps it's time for a computer data-base, Patricia!) And nearly three months later I'm still waiting for reimbursement...

I would not recommend this store to anyone. I ordered my dress and it only came in 2wks prior to my wedding and the service was so lousy. My bridesmaids were treated very poorly the store does not have many bridesmaid's dresses over the size of 10 and they were very rude about it. I had to take my dress elsewhere to be fitted since the person fitting my dress was not able to fit it correctly. I was very upset about this. The store is very dirty not clean at all. It seemed that everyone was very friendly at first and once my dress was ordered things changed and everyone was very rude.

I first stepped foot into Patricia's back in September 2006. That experience went well and I purchased my gown and bridesmaid dresses. Unfortunately, it all went downhill after that! Here is a very brief synopsis of my experience - they ordered the wrong wedding gown, forgot to order the bridesmaid dresses, forgot to order the shoes, charged a bridesmaid's credit card after she said she wasn't ordering her dress through them, took 3 months to refund the same bridesmaid's credit card, have yet to ship one of my bridesmaid's her gown after numerous phone calls and assurances.Their record keeping lacks organization! You can count on them to forget to call you back or put you on hold for 30 minutes at a time. You can also count on them to misplace and misspell information! It has been a nightmare dealing with this business - and I warn all future brides! They may have a large selection, but it is NOT worth the stress and frustration!
