Bought a car here about 6 months ago and I regret wasting my time and money. I was assured the car I bought was a great condition. It was not. First the wipers would get stuck on the side of my car while running causing them to jam on the highway, big safety hazard in upstate NY during the winter. They did fix the wipers while my car was under warranty, but just enough to last til the end of the warranty. I had to have them repaired at another mechanic and haven't had a problem since. Second my car took a while to start in very cold weather. I took it in 3 times to get looked at by the Rowland mechanics. The first 2 times were during my warranty they couldn't find anything wrong with the car whatsoever. I wasn't charged for either appointment. The third time I took it in for hard starts was about a week after my warranty ended. Magically they discovered my car needed new spark plugs and an ignition coil. More than a little suspicious to me. Shortly after the brakes started squealing. Done with Rowland I went to my usual mechanic, in 3 months of driving the car I had worn through the brake pads my car came with. Lastly with it warming up I've tired to use the air conditioner which also doesn't work and needs a new compressor. I paid 5k for a car that needed 1.5k in repairs. If I could give them 0 stars I would.

These folks great you on arrival, polite and responsive once you drop off your vehicle. The service has always been prompt and I have never needed to return for any issues. Great organization to have available to you in supporting your vehicle. Thank you Rolland Street folks!

What you want from your mechanic is honesty and competence. I have found this garage to be both honest and competent. This has been true over many years.

Nothing to say but the best. Jeep transmission problems. Did not know what to do. Rowland took me in ASAP. Fixed the problem in 2-3 hours & the best was the reasonable price.

I have always done my own work. This is the first shop that did not try and sell me anything that was not required and the staff was very knowledgeable. Actually felt comfortable leaving my truck in their care. Price was also reasonable for service performed. Highly recommend.

Everyone here is really helpful and friendly! Charges are reasonable and they mechanics really know their stuff! I've referred a few people here and everyone has been happy with them too!

I highly recommend this garage. It can be very frustrating finding a mechanic that you trust and are confident that they have your best interest in mind. I find them to be very honest and helpful, offering very fair and competitive price for their services. They always contact me before making any repairs and will let me know up front if the repair is really necessary or if it can be postpone till a later date. They also aren't offended when I let them know that I would like to make the repair myself so that I can keep my car maintenance costs down. I'm moving away soon and will miss having them as my mechanic.

I have been going to Rowland Street Garage for about 17 years. Bill and Fred Ebert stand behind their work, and their mechanics are very knowledgeable. They really know cars inside and out, all makes and models. I would recomend to anyone to have their car serviced there. Good hours of operation, also. Office staff are pleasant and helpful also.

Noticed bad bearing in transmissions tail housing, causing metal shavings in fluid... Early detection saved expensive repair, got away with replacement of bearing in tail housing & transmission service... Thanks Guy's...
