Dan was looking for an alternative to the large corporate law firm where he had practiced before becoming a prosecutor. Chris, who had already argued three cases in the U.S. Supreme Court, wanted to bring the passion and analytical skills he had developed as a public interest lawyer and academician to the legal problems faced by private clients.
