- Business DisputesBill Hyde is a 1968 graduate of Tulane Law School and received his M.S. in Accounting in 1972 from LSU. From 1968 until 1982, he was an Assistant Professor teaching business law and real estate at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. He is a member of the Louisiana Land Title Association and served that organization as President from 1994 -1995. He founded Baton Rouge Title Company and, in 1995, sold it to Chicago Title Insurance Company. Since 1995, he has served as General Counsel for Title Exchange Company, a qualified intermediary for tax deferred exchanges, as a consultant for Baton Rouge Title Company and operated a general law practice under the name, Hyde Law Firm. He often speaks to organizations on the subjects of real estate law and tax deferred exchanges. He is certified by the Louisiana Real Estate Commission and the Louisiana Bar Association as an instructor for continuing education. Additionally, he has frequently served as a speaker for the Louisiana Association of Certified Public Accountants.
