I love the Planet Beach in Central. Ever since they changed owners, the staff is so polite. You can't help but feel welcomed by the staff when you walk in the door. they accept walk- in appointments, their price are cheaper than the other tanning spas I went to, and it had really become a place that i have grown to enjoy. I have told all my friends about it and they really have changed since they new owner took over... Please, I Kindly recommend you try planet beach central when you are looking to tan.

This Planet Beach in central is awful, the staff is rude, the owner is not very nice either, they have zero customer service skills. Their signs say they are open until 9:00 pm, but good luck even trying to book an appointment after 7:00 pm, they lie & say they are booked, but they just close early. Many times they don't even answer the phone so you can make an appointment, they have attitudes when you call to make an appointment, like we the customers are bothering them!!! No walk in appointments. I would rather drive out of my way to another P/B then continue to go to the one in Central, lost my business.

I joined Planet Beach assuming that such a widely known and relatively popular chain would be a good choice to go with. This particular salon is only Planet Beach I have been to, but definitely the worst of any of the different salons that I have ever gone to. The appointment policy is ridiculous and makes you feel like you've got to plan your day around your tanning or otherwise receive snarky comments from the staff for either being early or a little late. That's if you can get an appointment. The phones go unanswered a lot. They're advertised to stay open until 9 pm but when I try to schedule and appointment in the evening they are either 'booked for the rest of the night' (yeah right) or they tell me that they're closing early that night. I once asked why, and was told 'I have no idea.' I like to be able to tan at my convenience and this concept appears to be lost with this place. I am only able to tan 4 days out of my membership as it is due to my job, but on the days I actually can I am continuously told that nothing is available. You definitely can't tan if you have other plans that day. It's insane. The beds are not cleaned well at all! Several times that I have gone I have had to wipe down the acrylic that you lay because it looked dirty.. And apparently they don't clean the top acrylics at all because they are always caked with lotion handprints. I will be canceling my membership as soon as I can and never using this franchise again.

Really nice and clean! The staff was really nice and helpful! I will definity return!
