The Great Escape is the second of 2 theatres in Bedford and is often the more preferred one. This is because the design is better, the theatres are better, the concession is better, and the technology is better than the other theatre. However, if the Great Escape does have one problem it is one theatre that is absolutely dreadful. This theatre was once a dining theatre, but they removed that years ago. Now it is a roomy theatre (the only complement I could give it), but the projector is TERRIBLE. It is so bad I refuse to watch any movie in it. The sound is worse than the sound on my oldest TV in my house. The screen is faded. The theatre looks like its falling apart. It is this reason that the Great Escape should be avoided if you know your movie is in this theatre. Other than that, its clean, friendly, and they have refills!
