Provided by DexKnowsI took my Subaru here last year when I first bought it. I had the timing belt done as well as a 90K service. Then I had my oil service done a few months after that. I was concerned with a squeaking when turning my steering wheel. It got driver around their parking lot and I was told that my power steering fluid had metal flakes in it, that I would need a new steering pump and steering rack (gave me written estimate around $1600). At my next oil service I took my car to another independent garage on Alki. They inspected the belts, took them off - said they were fine but had been misadjusted at some point - they put them back on, adjusted them properly. Now my steering is perfect, quiet and it only cost me $50. My point is that I don't trust Mark's Japanese Auto to be thorough and watch out for future repairs to help me.

Provided by DexKnowsThe folks at Mark's really know cars. I had taken my car to dealership for repairs and I always left with atleast a $1000 bill. At Mark's there are no surprises, they give you an estimate and it is usually spot on. I appreciate the quality and service I receive at Mark's Japanese European. I have an american car, which I wasn't sure if they could do work on. To my pleasant surprise, they can work on anything that has wheels. It's so much better than paying the dealership prices. Keep up the good work guys!!!!
