      Atkinson Freight Lines is a family-owned, fourth generation company. The trucking firm has grown over the years, from a 10 truck local fleet to the large regional carrier it is today. Atkinson Freight strives to be the best truckload carrier in the Northeast United States by providing quality transportation services, freight pick-up and delivery in a timely and damage free manner. The company s fleet consists of 150 Atkinson new and late model tractors. Atkinson Freight also owns more than 500 dry van trailers and 80 refrigerator units. The fleet size allows the drivers to drop trailers at both origin and destination points for loading or unloading. Maintaining the fleet is the company s top priority. Its Bensalem, Pa. terminal includes a full service maintenance shop. This location can handle everything from standard preventative maintenance to entire overhauls.
