      Shruti Iyer, DO, is a highly skilled and compassionate physician dedicated to providing comprehensive and patient-centered healthcare. With a strong academic background and specialized training, Dr. Iyer brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her practice. Her journey in medicine began at the University of Pittsburgh, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation Science in 2015. During her undergraduate years, Dr. Iyer demonstrated exceptional academic achievements and a passion for understanding the human body’s intricacies. Eager to pursue her dream of becoming a physician, Dr. Iyer went on to obtain her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in 2019. Her time at the medical school provided her with a holistic approach to patient care, emphasizing the importance of treating the whole person, not just their symptoms. Following medical school, Dr. Iyer completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology (Ob/Gyn) at OhioHealth Doctors Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, in 2023. During her residency, she gained invaluable experience in various aspects of women’s healthcare, solidifying her commitment to providing the highest standard of care to her patients. Her exceptional leadership skills were recognized as she served as a chief resident during her residency. Dr. Shruti Iyer’s dedication to excellence and ongoing education is evidenced by her membership in organizations such as the American College of Osteopathic OBGYN’S and the American Association of GYN Laparoscopists. She is also certified in Da Vinci robotic surgery. These memberships highlight her commitment to staving updated with the latest advancements in her field and incorporating evidence-based practices into her patient care.
