Beverly Hills Psychiatry is a premier psychiatry practice in Beverly Hills, California, led by double board-certified mental health specialist Joseph Gulino, M.D. He serves patients four-years-old and older in the comfortable settings of their own homes by providing telehealth appointments. Dr. Gulino has nearly two decades of experience working with adults, adolescents, and children. He specializes in treating anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), substance use disorders, autism spectrum disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, screen time “addiction,” and childhood misbehavior. Dr. Gulino offers psychotherapy, medication management, lifestyle-change counseling, and other highly effective treatments for common mental health disorders and challenges. He is board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in both adult and child psychiatry and is a member of the American Psychiatric Association as well as the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville and earned his medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond. Dr. Gulino completed a general psychiatry residency and a child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at The Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. He emphasizes the importance of an accurate mental health diagnosis and comprehensive treatments tailored to the patient’s individual needs. Dr. Gulino takes a complete clinical inventory of their mental health status and factors that contribute to it, such as physical, social, emotional, behavioral, and family history components.
