- MisdemeanorsGeorgette Hogan Boggio was born and raised on the Crow Indian Reservation and is an enrolled member of the Crow Tribe of Indians. Upon graduation from Stanford Law School in 2000, Georgette worked at California Indian Legal Services. She represented Tribes and individual tribal members in a myriad of practice areas including Tribes in state court ICWA proceedings, and Tribal code drafting and review. Georgette returned home to Montana in 2002, and worked for Montana Legal Services in Billings, representing victims of Domestic Violence. During this time, she was very involved in working with a Montana-wide Coalition of Tribal Domestic Violence Prevention workers. Georgette went on to be a deputy prosecutor for the Yellowstone County Attorney's Office, where she prosecuted misdemeanors and felonies

In regard to large-scale financial transactions, we have represented Tribal governments in the issuance of an $18 million taxable bond (to fund Tribal governmental projects and land acquisitions) and a $12 million tax-exempt loan transaction (to fund Tribal buildings and infrastructure). Our Indian Law accomplishments also include negotiation of major mineral develop agreements, negotiated settlement of a claim against a major oil company for substantial damages related to an oil spill, negotiation of a water compact with the State of Montana, and successful revisions of two Tribal Constitutions. Ms. Russell graduated from the University of Montana School of Law in 1992. Ms. Russell is a founding partner in the law firm and currently practices in numerous areas of law including, representation of Indian Tribes, Indian housing authorities, Indian businesses, school districts and other tribal entities, real estate transactions, agricultural leasing, water law, negotiations with federal and state entities, construction contracts and civil litigation in Federal, State and Tribal Courts.

She graduated from the University of Montana Law School in 2007. She is a member of the Montana State Bar and she is admitted to practice law in the U.S. District Court. Starting in 2007, Ms. Ready worked as an associate attorney at two private law firms in Billings, Montana. She represented clients in the areas of civil litigation, corporate law, estate planning, real estate and probate. In late 2011, Ms. Ready established a solo practice in Billings, Montana. She practiced in the areas of business law, estate planning, criminal defense, dependent neglect, probate and estate administration. Ms. Ready came to work at Elk River Law in 2018, and she is performing the duties of the Laurel City Prosecutor. Additionally, Ms. Ready assists clients in estate planning, civil litigation, business law, probate, and Indian Law matters.
