She has trained with Goldwell in various color techniques and specializes in styling textured hair, the Keratin Smoothing Treatment and hair extensions. Melissa loves to be involved in various salon events, from most recently styling hair for Boston Fashion Week to doing weddings and fashion shoots.

- Keratin TreatmentMicheal Smith Trained in Dublin, Ireland, Michael graduated from the David Marshall school in 2002 where he excelled in precision-cutting and creative coloring. In 2007 Michael moved to Boston and shortly after joined Salon Acote. His fashion forward concepts and cutting-edge style have given him many projects within the beauty industry. His passion for continued education has led him to travel the globe to be taught by the ultimate celebrity stylists. Micheal is certified in the keratin smoothing treatment and has trained with Vidal Sassoon. He specializes in balayage and customizing color to compliment ones’ skin tone.
- Hair StylingWissam Robehmed Wissam knew his passion for hair from a young age. Born in Lebanon and raised in Connecticut, he graduated with a Bachelor’s in Fashion Design. His creative talent prompted him to take his love of styling to the next level. Finishing top of the class from Empire Beauty School, Wissam still continues to transform his clients dreams into their realities. Being part of the Acote team, Wissam specializes in precision coloring, balyage, haircuts, styling, and up-dos. His love of fashion and old Hollywood glamour has made him a staple in Boston’s hair styling sphere. Wissam has done work for numerous fashion shows in the New England area, most notably, Catwalk for the Cure. - Makeup ArtistryMiriam Meza Miriam moved from Mexico over 10 years ago and received her training from Vidal Sassoon concentrating in various cutting techniques. Her favorite aspect in working at Acote is our diverse staff and clientele. She specializes in curly textural hair and adding natural highlights to brunette hair. Miriam spent two years at our sister salon Safar Miami and recently returned to Acote. Her love for make-up artistry has gotten her more involved in editorial work and styling for fashion shows, which has always been one of her professional goals. VIEW PORTFOLIO
- Eyebrow ThreadingBelkys Ramirez Belkys’ yearning for advanced education brought her from Newburyport to Boston. Her love of hair and makeup has shown through her work throughout her journey. Being in the industry for nine years, Belkys still loves the feeling of making her clients feel beautiful and happy with her work. Her favorite part of being at Acote, and on Newbury Street, is the idea that there is always more to learn when taking care of her clients. Belkys has extensive knowledge of fashions shades, which sets her apart from other stylists in the area. Her approach to styling is unique and fashion forward, which she draws from current fashion trends and colors. To add to her creative repertoire, Belkys is incredibly skilled in makeup, whether it be a bridal or avant-gardes look. She has attended classes taught by world renowned makeup artist David Nicholas and has completed courses in eyebrow threading. Belkys has also participated in HAIRraising for the Boston Children’s Hospital and attended Oribe Front Row in 2016.
