The above review doesn't make any sense to me. The waitstaff has always been very attentive when I've been there. How would this person know that the wai tstaff gave their table away after their last guest arrived one minute later, but then NOT know until 15 minutes later when one of their party went back to check? When there are inconsistencies in stories like this, it makes me wonder what actually happened.

I had the worst resturant experiance i have ever had this morning at the Original pancake house in Bothell, WA. We had a party of 11 all meeting for breakfast for the birthday of an 8 year old boy. Breakfast at the Original pancake house was what he wanted to do for his birthday. The first member of our party showed up at 10:10 am to get us on the list and the rest showed up at 10:30.



The banquet room was being prepared for us when i got there at 10:20. At around 10:30 the banquet room was ready for us. Our final guest showed up approximately 1 minute later and the wait staff had already given the tables in the banquet away to other guests.



But no....they didn't tell us that. It wasn't until 15 minutes later that one of our party went back to the banquet room and saw that there were guests in the room that hadn't even ordered yet.



So we asked about how long it would be before we could get seated and the staff could not tell us. It's hard to say with such a large group. So at 11:10 when the wait staff still could not tell us how much longer it could be (only that it wouldn't be soon) we all left and wen't somewhere else. The birthday boy's heart was broken and the 5 other kids where starving and cranky.



Honesty is apparently not their employees strong suit. Nor is customer service. Having watched patrons come and go and eventually all of us leaving without ever being seated i can tell you that the 5 families invloved in today's breakfast will never eat at this resturant again and will likely recommend to their friends and family to avoid the resturant as well.



If you can not handle groups as large as ours you should be sure to let the party know that before they have spent 50 minutes waiting in your lobby.
