Provided by YP.comIn response to Mr. Kahlboy2004, I'm sorry you felt our diagnostic services were only worth $25. 2005 Ford Freestar's have a highly complicated computer controlled fuel management system that includes the computer pulsing the electrical circuit based upon fuel needed. Many years ago, all we had to perform was a fuel pressure test backed by a test to see if power and ground were available to the fuel pump. Unfortunately those tests are no longer complete to verify the cause of the problem. Today we use very technical computers to communicate with the vehicle's computer and verify signals with lab scopes and other electrical equipment. We pride ourselves on being highly accurate with our diagnosis of vehicles and our customers have come to expect us being right the first time. In order to accomplish this we must have very highly trained Technicians using the latest test equipment available. This equipment was used on your 2005 Ford Freestar to diagnose the condition correctly the first time. Once we have diagnosed the vehicle correctly we estimate based upon using the highest quality parts available so we can offer a 3 year or 36,000 mile warranty covering both parts and labor nationwide. The estimate given would have included parts, labor, diagnostic fees as well as all taxes and other fees associated with performing a complete repair. A complete repair may include other items to prevent a premature failure of the new part. This was certainly the case with your vehicle. Replacement of the fuel pump alone is not a complete repair. When a competitive survey was performed, labor was found to be in the $220 range and the fuel pump between $400 and $500 not including the other items needed to perform a complete repair. Add tax and diagnostic fees and we approach $900. Again I'm sorry you didn't feel an accurate diagnosis was worth more than $25. We wish you the best of luck. Owner Any BODY'S Garage

Provided by YP.comcharged me $140 for a $25 diagnostic test. Gave me an estimate of over $800 to change my fuel pump. I hauled my 2005 ford freestar back to Gainesville, Mo. and paid ADS Auto to install a new fuel pump for $70 and I have a 12 month warranty. Thanks for the rip off on the diagnostic test Anybodys Garage. don't let this happen to you!
This establishment is highly recommended. Customer service experienced here is unrivaled. Jeff could not have been more friendly, helpful, or professional. His technicians found a potentially dangerous mechanical failure which was quickly rectified. We were even given a ride to meet up with our family while we waited. We couldn't be more pleased. A++++
