I went to safelite to have three chips repaired. I pointed out a previously repaired chip to the tech. I told him DO NOT TOUCH this one! It doesn't look repaired but it has already been filled three years ago. Then thirty minutes later they come tell me they cracked my windshield beyond repair! Come to find out, it's because they tried to fill the chip I told them NOT to touch!! They only offered a "deep" discount on replacing it which is the same price as everyone else in town WITHOUT a discount! They should have replaced it for FREE! NEVER using Safelite again!

Our rear windshield got busted out on a Sunday, and the only place that would answer a phone call was Safelite. It was a 1-800 number, but they were friendly and helped me set up an appointment for the next morning. They even gave me a AAA discount! HOWEVER, because they were the only person I could get a hold of, I didn't realize that there initial quote was almost $100 more than the other companies I would hear from the next day. Even after the discount, it was $50 more. The guy I scheduled my appointment with assured me that my window would be 'dark tinted' like my other windows. But after picking up the car, I saw that it was only a light green tint. The shop explained that they did not do tinting there and I would have to take it somewhere else and pay extra for that. They did not do anything to compensate me for this misinformation and I am going to have to just live with it. Though they were all nice employees, I will not be taking my vehicle here again.
