I found a new job, was relocating, and would be more than 1000 miles away from my home in Wisconsin. Brittney Ogden was the agent that handled the MLS listing process of FSBO. She contacted me to get the information and even came to my house since I was very busy at the time. She was very accommodating and extremely professional. She also has a great phone voice which is important when being contacted by potential buyers and equally important, she is not pushy. I decided to give for sale by owner a try and when I had to move to start my new job, I contacted Brittney to handle the sale of my home. She was awesome. Again, she was very accommodating and worked with my unavailable schedule and came to me for the paperwork and contracts. She knows what needs to be done to make a home appealing to buyers. She made a number of changes to the inside of my home which was a side by side townhouse to make it more appealing. My home was put on the market at one of the worst times to sell a home, especially for a duplex, yet she managed to get it sold at a decent price in a bad market in a very reasonable time frame. As a matter of fact, I was anxious to sell it and willing to drop the price, but it was her, her knowledge of the housing market, my property, and the potential buyers that had seen my home that got the home sold and at a price that was higher than if I were selling it alone. My father even said I should drop the price more to get it sold. Brittney’s response was “I think that it is priced right. We just need to wait for the right buyer.” She even took care of all the arrangements so that all I had to do was sign the dotted lines to get my home sold and was able to do that so that I could close on the home without having to return back to Wisconsin to do close. That is A+ service. I only regret that I don’t have any friends in Wisconsin selling homes to refer to her and her agency.
