Store had an amazing selection as usual and KC was outstanding!! She was extremely helpful with us!!

I absolutely adored One Flight Up for the past 3 years until today. Yesterday I used my first frequent flyer discount with all of the money I got for my birthday. My bf accidentally broke my favorite glass pipe. I went to over 4 head shops yesterday (and if you know the area you know that means I had to go to eastern ave in baltimore then all the way to catonsville and then finally to Brooklyn) I saw the one I wanted almost as soon as I walked in. I spent over an hour in there making sure it was the right one for me. It looked like it had bubbles on the head part of the pipe. I took it home and used it once and took a picture of it. When I zoomed in I realized they weren't bubbles but they were cracks! It's ironic because the girl who helped me had explained that if something was already broken when you bought it or it broke from "natural causes" right after you bought it then they will do their best to make it right. I called in tears today and another lady there told me there's nothing they can do. Even though the lady last night even saw "the bubbles" when I pointed them out. I understand policy and procedure but as a shop owner I had expected her to at least try to make it right. While I was away my boyfriend bought me an ugly replacement from one flight up which they wouldn't take back/exchange even though it was completely unused which I understand because there is nothing wrong with it but my point is after explaining all this no one tried to help me after we spent over 60 there yesterday after my boyfriend already wasted 45 dollars there. All this money wasted and all I am left with is a cracked pipe for my birthday that I can't use. So much for caring about the customers and making things right. I'm sad to say I will be looking for a new favorite smoke shop that will stand by their products.
