I just saw Dr. Duong and his assistant, Maya, for a Friday night emergency root canal. Both of them cancelled their plans and came into the office to fix my tooth as a favor to my oral surgeon whom I had been seeing that afternoon and discovered that something was not right. Dr. Duong and Maya were so friendly, patient and considerate. They worked quickly and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. I specifically appreciated that he communicated with my dentist because their are many specialist who do not like to collaborate with other medical professionals. The Doctor Duong and staff were very professional, and caring. It was a great experience, especially because your nerves are already hyped up.

When I first entered the office I was a nervous wreck. I was so frightened because I have had root canals in the past and they were always so painful. The staff and Dr. Duong were very understanding. Dr. Duong was very patient with me. He was very informative, he took his time with me, and I never felt like he was rushing or in a hurry. Dr. Duong would ask me if I was alright during the procedure, and I was. After a few minutes I was no longer nervous. He would explain what was happening and what to expect, as he went along. I felt absolutely no pain after being injected with the Novacain. I did not need to be given any more injections during the procedure, which was such a relief for me. I would recommend Dr. Duong to anyone needing a root canal.

Overall It was a great experience. The procedure was painless and he was clear with what I should anticipate and with follow up procedures. I would highly recommend this doctor and his great staff.
