There has been several occasions where I have brought my friends pet to this clinic. I would never bring my own animals there, I have too much respect for my animals! I have called the emergency number late at night when something very bad things have happened to my friends animals. They never answer their emergency number and by time they do get back to you it's 3pm the next day. Her staff always says she doesn't always get her messages but I have also called shane's number and left messages and multiple messages through out the night with no response! If she doesn't get her messages then how do they know to call me back at 3pm? The most recent visit to Eskridge vet was to get a dog nuetered. Well they also cleaned the dogs teeth free of charge (no complaint there) a few days later we had to take the dog back because we thought he was sick. He wasnt eating and acting like he was in a lot of pain. Well come to find out they had pulled a bunch of his teeth and never told us or the owner of the animal. (us being the ones who dropped him off and picked him up) Another time a few months earlier, my friends dog had gotten really sick. Also at night, so the emergency number was pointless yet again, Finally in the morning when the vet opened they came and picked the dog up from my friends (kudos to them) well later in the day it came out that the dogs kidneys failed and the dog would have to be put to sleep. So we take my friend down to say goodbye to her dog. we had to go through the back door because she is in a wheelchair. When we went in the door Lisa was there doing an operation on a cat while eating Taco Bell! please correct me if I am wrong but isn't any operation supposed to be sterile to avoid infection?!?!?! I think they need to evaluate how they are doing business and need to make some choices.
When you walk in, take a deep whiff! Do you want your pet in that assault on the nose? The staff is unfriendly no matter how nice you are to them.
They seem to be mainly horse-focused.
Lisa Eskridge is the best vet I could have ever had. She was with me and my gram the whole way. I even went to school with her daughter. Lisa has taught me a few things along the way. I would never choose another vet over Lisa Eskridge and she has also led me to wanting to become a vet just like her. whom ever read this you should really make a trip to Lisa with your four-legged friend to, because they will even love her. the worst part is I am in Pa right now so I had to switch vets, but as soon as I get my new car I am getting my furry friends and back to Colorado I go so I could take my loved furry critters to the best loving kind vet there is. Dr. Eskridge has cared for several of my animals. Tonight, we had to put our beloved puppy to sleep. Dr. Eskridge was so kind, compassionate and composed. It was incredibly hard to say goodbye, but I know Dr. Eskridge did every thing she could for my pup. I have never met a vet more thorough, knowledgeable, or compassionate.
I will always take my animals to see Dr. Eskridge.
Lisa is absolutely wonderful with animals! I took my dog there recently for some vague symptoms he was experiencing. After listening to everything I had to say, she knew right away what to look for. Not only is she extremely knowledgeable, she also truly cares about the animals. She spent extra time with my dog, making sure he was comfortable. She is a great vet.
Many thanks to Dr. Eskridge and her staff. Our family pet escaped from our back yard this morning and was hit by a car. You and your staff did an awesome job making sure that he got the treatment and care that he needed. We can't thank you enough for your services

So here is my story. I had two dogs neutered and they were fine, everything went smoothly. Then I have my little female, she had a lump on her tail removed and it was stitched up. She left it alone and everything was fine until yesterday. She had tried to pull her stitches out. I am about 30 min past when the clinic closes and so I try calling the emergency number. No answer, after 3 times of calling still no answer. I go in at 7:30 knowing they aren't really open, but hoping they could at least look at her tail and suggest something. All I was told was "NO we can't look at her, the vet doesn't even come in till 9:30". The door says hrs are from 8-5:30. The customer service is HORRIBLE!! The staff are all rude, and don't seem to care about any of your pets issues! If I could give them a negative rating I would! I WILL NEVER TAKE MY PETS BACK!!! This is the worst vet clinic I have ever been to, and it stinks, and I don't think there is a spot in that clinic that is sanitary!!

My cat Tarzan was dying and I brought him into Dr. Lisa with 87 dollars and a promise to pay and they took him in. She saved his life and he is finally home after a 7 day stay. So I give them 5 stars!!
The place stinks so does the customer service. I'm not sure why anyone would feel comfortable allowing their animals to be seen there.

Dr Eskridge and her amazing staff are the only vet I will ever use here. Their medical expertise, kindness and compassion were never more evident than during the diagnosis and treatment of my dog's lymphoma. Even during his subsequent euthanasia, I felt like they cared for us as a family; allowing him to pass in the familiar comfort of my arms in the back seat of my car. Then they gently tucked him into a doggy bed in their office so my last memories of him weren't of a cold impersonal environment.
If I could give negitive stars I would so let me tell you what happened. I had a dog who became very sick. I took her into the clinic and the vet flat out told me it was my fault because I didnt give her her shots soon enough. (My dog was basically laying there dying) Then she tells me that I can leave her there and that if I cant afford to pay the bill for her treatment when she is better that she can rehouse her. (considerate :) ) However, 2 days after I left, a family comes in and decides they want my dog, and WHAT DOES THE VET DO????? Gives her to them in exchange for the payments of the treatment...As if that isnt bad enough I called EVERY DAY about 2 weeks to see how she was and they NEVER once mentioned that she was with another family. And finally I find out whats going on and the vet tells me not to take her away from the family she doesnt even belong to. Plus every time we call to speak with them the vet is out of the office. (Or at goodwill, while we are sitting in their office with a puppy having seizures)!!!!!! I hate this clinic. If you wanna keep your Family member in the family take them somewhere else.

If I could give negatives stars I would. We had a mother and puppies with parvo. At the time we couldn't afford the treatments for the mother but did what we could for the 8 puppies. For one, they were not confident at all with us keeping the puppies. 6 Survived, which I believe is good. We asked them to let us know how much the mother would be when she was better. We had called them for 2 weeks on reports of her health. When she was better, they had told us they adopted her out to another home 2 DAYS AFTER SHE WAS ADMITTED. They didn't tell us that when we were calling to check up on her for the two weeks. When we asked about getting her, they said "We adopted her out and she is happy where she is at. The little girl in the family is happy with her." They had no right to do that, we didn't get our dog back. Besides the fact half the time you call, the vet isn't even in....she was at goodwill one time. WHAT THE HECK!!!!
I hated to shop around for services but the budget couldn't handle another expense after my dog's leg surgery. We were from out of town and have plenty of local options but felt we were paying additional for facilities instead of services. I was concerned that my favorite little friend may suffer in order to try and save me a couple of bucks. A friend of mine told me this is where they take their pets and I thought I would give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised after reading other reviews and the cleanliness of the facility upon my arrival. I don't expect the facility to look like a fancy office but whatever the facility, I expect it to be clean. The staff members were friendly and they took great care of my dog. I will definitely go back and tell my friends it's worth a short drive. Thanks!
This team is amazing, and regardless of the time of day (or night) the only thing that matters is your pet. Lisa and her staff are wonderful, and they aren't all about payment up front, just be honest with them and they will do the same. It's great to finally find a veterinary clinic with integrity and such devotion. Thanks to them for the many "emergency" saves for me and my pets.
I love Eskridge, not only is the staff so caring and wonderful the price is AMAZING!!! My dog was in surgery all day and it only cost me $192.00. That is amazing. Other clinics were $500.00 +. And even though the price was so cheap they said they would still let me make payments if needed. This clinic cares about the animals not the money. I will not take my dogs anywhere else. They are just AMAZING. The vets are super kind, the staff is very gentle and everyone is always happy. It's for the love of animals not money which is just awesome!!
This vet clinic is wonderful, I can actually afford to take my animals for care here. They are caring, compassionate and AFFORDABLE.

Dr. Lisa Eskridge is a wonderful vet. She and her staff were called on a ranch call (On a Sunday evening, no less) my horse literally slit her throat, and also did horrible damage to her front leg. It was a freak accident but none the less. I can't explain how laid open my mare was, this was the worst I have ever seen. (and I am no chicken when it comes to this kind of stuff) Dr. Eskride came out in FREEZING weather and stiched her up, which took almost 4 hours to put my horse back together. I can't thank Eskridge Vet Clinic enough. Not only did Eskridge Vet Clinic put her back together, I did not have a heart attack when I received the bill. I can't thank you enough.
