EXCELLENT ! ! ! ! !

Authentic Mexican food ! ! !

Fresh, hot and spicy. House Margaritas are made with Gold tequilla, not having to pay extra for this upgrade. You can taste AND feel the alcohol in these drinks! I am a regular and have never had a bad experience. Fast and delicious food, excellent prompt service, fresh ingredients. Best guacamole and margaritas. I have had most items on their extensive menu and now just put it in the hands of the servers. I tell them to surprise me and order what they like. I will eat anything. I have not had anything served that wasn't fantastic. AND, they do not order me the most expensive item. My favorite servers are Jose Luis Campos, Christian and Edwardo. Jose at the bar really has a generous hand in pouring your mixed drinks. Tell the guys Susan says hi. I am not related to nor have I ever worked there. I am a regular. I guarantee you will enjoy this restaurant as long as you like AUTHENTIC Mexican food.

Items are not burried in cheese if that's what you are use to. YOU NEED TO LIKE A LITTLE SPICY as everything including the fresh made-when-ordered guacamole. Only downside of the place is they get very busy after 630p (summer time, 530p winter time) and you may have to wait. It is worth it. If you can get a seat in/at the bar you can start on your drink and Jose will get you free chips and salsa. Lack of parking is another downside as it is in a strip mall and has 2 other popularly delicious restaurants a few doors down, Big Bills Pizza and Wild Basil Asian Cuisine. (also a very busy gymnastics place in the old Albertsons grocery store) All I can say is try it. Anyone I introduce to it becomes a regular. And a restaurant with a wait is a good sign of a good restaurant. Salute!

AUTHENTICO

Real Mexican food like you would find in Mexico. Non of this Americanized, smothered in cheese, bland stuff.

If you don't want spicy, don't eat the salsa and ask for entrees accordingly. Best darn margaritas in town! Better than blue Bonnet, Bennys, Rio... to name a few. Don't be surprised if you have to wait for a table especially on Friday and Saturday nights. It is sooooo worth it though. I guarantee, you will like it. I am a regular there. If you can't wait to eat, place a to go order and enjoy a margarita or corona at the bar. Yum! Oh, and the service is as outstanding as the food.

A local favorite, being from TX & CA, I love my Mexican food. LDP satisfies. Chips and Salsa! Yum!

My family frequents this restaurant. Great service and great food. If you like super spicy food, go for the chicken chipotle. It will curl you toes and clear your sinuses. Not for me, but everything else, bon appetit'. Thank you the best Mexican food I've found in the Denver area. House margaritas are fabulous...I recommend the pomegranate too. Wonderful sippy sweet drink. I can only drink half, but that half is yum-azing. I love the quesadillas, enchiladas, taco salads, and the fact that they offer food for the non-Mexican partakers without compromising the reason they are there-Mexican food extaordinare. Family atmosphere, casual dress, ample parking (strip mall setting). I've asked them to expand-the wait can be long during lunch and dinner hours. Definitely worth the wait, but the success of this restaurant would GREATLY increase with more space. They've tried evidently, but they have adamant restaurant neighbors. Five stars doesn't seem to do my review justice. I give them 10!
