I currently work here, and the owner is incredible. I’ve worked here for five years now and if you’re looking to become an educator, it gives great skills that I have used throughout my current professional career as a teacher. Multitasking is one of them. I’ve learned to deal with several children at one time efficiently and professionally. Children that come here are taught independence which is necessary for life and education and they learn a love for learning. This place is great and I recommend it time and time again to my current students if they’re in need of additional help or simply wish to get ahead.

The communication and management here could be 10x better. The owner is rude and could be more organized in how she runs this business. When making a statement or promise you should keep your word to what you say. This Kumon is overly staffed and not welcoming. Kids cannot be treated like they are adults at this age and you can tell by how they are treated in here they feel miserable. I worked here and for the work you are doing should be paid more than $7.25 an hour for multi tasking and working one on one with 2 kids at a time. This included: reading, writing and tutoring each child for over an hour and half for each child. Regular one on one tutoring at other companys are hourly $30+ and up.
