I understand that coming to therapy is a personal choice, so I take a person centered approach when building rapport with my clients. I have an eclectic approach to treatment, which allows me to customize the tools provided for each client’s unique goals. I value each and every one of my clients & enjoy being a part of their journeys to personal growth, healing, and wellness. I've been working in the field of mental health since 2012 while in the last year of my undergraduate career at Rutgers University in New Brunswick! I instantly felt a pull towards the counseling profession and changed my graduate school applications to pursue a Masters in Counseling in Educational Settings/Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Rowan University. My experiences growing up as a minority female and volunteering in community-based organizations allow me to be a culturally competent practitioner.
