The doctor and the staff are wonderful. They take the time to talk to you and make sure you understand everything that's going on with your pet. Took wonderful care of our pomchi who needed lots of teeth extracted. We love them and recommend everyone to use them.
What an amazing place! Awesome doctor and staff. We were very impressed by how quickly they were able to get us in an do the necessary surgery on our dog. We have already recommended them to many of our friends. If you are looking for an affordable and genuine place to take your loved ones, this is the PLACE!!! I wish I could give 0 stars for this establishment!! This was my daughter's regular vet. She was moving to Italy and worked with this office for 8 months to make sure she was following the right procedures and filling out all the correct paperwork. Dr. Matthew Bettencourt either did not follow procedure or did not read the paperwork completely, so her dog is not able to travel with her to Italy. Instead of owning to their mistake and working with the USDA to correct their mistake, they tried to blame it on my daughter. Consequently, she has to find boarding for her dog, find someone who can help correct the mistake while she is in Italy, and pay for her pet to travel alone. I am sorely disappointed in their customer service and the lack of compassion they showed to her dog.
They were amazing and kind from the first visit and every visit after. Every time I bring my dog in, they treat us with respect. They take the time to listen to my concerns and questions. Dr. Bettencourt takes the time to answer my kids' questions as well. I would highly recommend this animal hospital above all others. Thank you to the whole team!
Chico Creek Animal Hospital is excellent the receptionist are great the assistants are so kind and helpful and Dr. Bettencourt is the best Vet ever! It's also a bonus that thier rates are reasonable. The vaccines are almost the same price as shot clinics. My little anxious 9 lb mut loves to go 2 to their office and likes Dr. Bettencourt him! So does 12 week old kitten. He is kind gentle caring he explains everything to you he's very knowledgeable and very professional .I have used a lot of vets in my 52 years and by ffar Chico Creek Animal Hospital is the best.
I can't say enough wonderful things about the office staff and the Dr. is fantastic. We started when our girl was pregnant. 10 puppies and a friendship was made. we have 5 in our pack.
They know each one and care for all.

I love this office so much! They have great customer service and I always feel good about going there. My dog absolutely loves the people that work there too. They explain things to you in a way that you really understand what's going on with your pet. Anytime I need anything they get me in right away! I would deffinetly recommend this office to anyone looking for a great vet for their pet!
I would like to thank the staff and Dr Kimbrell. The service was outstanding and personal. The prices are very affordable in comparison to others I have used. My dogs needs were evaluated and given a treatment that covered all issues that fit my budget. This was my first visit and will use Chico creek as my choice of vets. Oustanding service.
I can hardly express my gratitude in words. This is the kindest place I've ever stopped foot into. The dr was tremendously compassionate, took more time than anyone could expect of someone, and was as generous as anyone I've ever known. He helped me with a very sick dog (cancerous tumors), when he knew I was struggling to cover all that she needed. He didn't upcharge and add on. On the contrary, he made it as affordable as he possibly could and then even did things like scraping some of the tartar off her teeth and clipping her nails and extracting her glands while she was under... Just to be nice.
I will never go anywhere else. I spent over $400 at a local vet down by the tractor supply place... Not to make it obvious who I'm talking about but... I got zero for the $400. They just basically said "I donno. Come back again and we'll look further." But they were going to charge all over again, even down to the visit fee. Chico Creek rescued me and my sweet girl. The tumors are gone and she is no longer in tremendous pain. She is as healthy as she can be at 13-years-old, and I am as loyal as a human can be. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!
The best vet in Chico ca.they treat your pets like there your children. Their prices are better then anyone in town. They don't try to do things to your pets that aren't needed.They have you as a customer in their best interest. I will not take my pets anywhere but Chico Creek vet. Try them you will be glad you did.
