After an almost three-month search for a 36-inch home cooking stove that cost less than my HVAC system replacement, I called Choudrant Appliances. I'd purchased all my electrical appliances from them, but for some reason, I'd not thought of them when I started looking for a gas stove. I was desperate. My oven had broken and could not be repaired, and I'd spent untold hours searching online, reading mixed reviews, and looking at stoves that would be delivered to my front door for me to have installed. I wanted to talk to someone who had worked on whatever I purchased. Dane took my call, listened patiently to my concerns, and recommended a Verona range the firm had sold without problems for several years. In three working days, I could have either the all-gas or the dual-fuel model installed for a price that was squarely in between the cost of 30-inch stoves and the so-called "commercial" brands. She explained the merits of the two models, explained that with European-type stoves experienced installation was often a problem, and said Mr. Hancock, the owner and installer, had never once had a problem with a Verona range he'd installed. I ordered the dual-fuel model on the telephone! Later that day, Danny Hancock, the owner, called me back to confirm the sale and to assure my home had the proper outlets. His confidence and my long experience with this most reliable firm reassured me. He and Jake installed the stove three days later, as promised, without a hitch. I could not be more pleased than I am with this stove. It is attractive. It works beautifully, and I know I can rely Choudrant Appliances should I ever have a problem. From start to finish, my experience with this company was superb. I recommend it without reservation. Thanks Dane, Danny, and Jake!

Horrible. I am 9 months pregnant and waited for the tech all day. Called twice to see if he was still coming. I was told yes. He never showed up. Called the next morning. They said the tech called and left a voice mail so I must be the one lying not the tech. I told them I can pull my phone records and that I had no reason to lie. They said they trust their tech over me and they definitely aren't sending there tech out now and to call someone else. I have been in customer service for YEARS and never would have treated a customer that way. I'm shocked and disgusted at their lack of care and how they treat people. I would never recommend them. They could care less if they lost a customer. Call Hillco!
