      Located in Cincinnati, Central Clinic provides behavioral health, substance abuse, forensic and prevention services to children, adults and families. Founded in 1923, Central Clinic offers a wide variety of adult services that provides assistance to adults with emotional distress and serious mental illnesses. Its adult services include mental health evaluations, medications, personality and intelligence assessments, individual and group therapies, counseling and community support. The clinic also provides training and research for graduate students and psychiatric residents in various mental health fields, including psychology, nursing, counseling and social work. It offers research studies to improve the quality of mental health care in a variety of areas. The clinic is a provider of various insurance carriers and qualifies for federal, state and local mental health funds. Central Clinic is licensed and certified by the Ohio Department of Mental Health and the Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services.
