      The Cottonwood Creek Recreation Center is managed and operated by the Parks, Recreation & Cultural Services, which is governed by the City of Colorado Springs in Colorado. The center is the first of its kind in southern Colorado. It houses an indoor wave pool and water slide with a catch pool. The Cottonwood Creek Recreation Center also features a fitness area, multipurpose room, offices and locker rooms. Parks, Recreation & Cultural Services is a department of the City of Colorado Springs in Colorado. The department is responsible for the management of trails, parks, open spaces and recreation areas. It manages urban forests, golf courses, city cemeteries, and cultural and historical resources. In addition, Parks, Recreation & Cultural Services offers opportunities for city s youths and adults.
