Now lets just start by saying I really don't like going to the dentist. This has been an issue for me for many years. About ten years ago I had to find a dentist here in the Springs, I do not remember how I located Dr. Winkler, but I'm grateful I did. My first visit, I was a very nervous. Dr. Winkler did everything right, he was very considerate of my fears and pain. He even made a follow-up call that evening to check how I was doing. This was a nice touch. I continued to see him until my insurance changed and the new insurance did not have Dr. Winkler on their list of approved Dentists. Ok, jumping to 2008 (about 10+ years) I had to find a dentist again, as since seeing Dr. Winkler and I had only seen one other Dentist "ONCE" (to say the least, I will NEVER go back to Perfect Teeth on Powers) I checked my new insurance again, and Dr. Winkler was not on the list, well I decided to go out of network and use Dr. Winkler. I'm glad I am back. He is still the kind, considerate and gentle dentist I remember. His new office is beautiful and has all of the newest technology. The staff is wonderful, knowledgeable and very helpful. Having a great dentist is well worth going out of network for.
