CORRUPTION!!! HUGE BILL FOR 2 MINUTES WITH A DOCTOR. Children's didn't charge us, but the doctor did. THEY ARE NOT AN URGENT CARE. THEY ARE A REGULAR ER. THEIR NAME IS COMPLETELY MISLEADING. WE WOULD NOT HAVE GONE IN IF THE NAME DIDN'T SAY URGENT CARE. THIS IS PURE DECEPTION, AND I WILL BE LOOKING AT MY OPTIONS FOR FIGHTING THIS. We went to this location as a result of an overly paranoid children's nurse line telling us a rash on our son could be staph so we "needed to get him in immediately!" Thus, though it was late, this place was open and the staff was friendly. That is where the positive ends. The rooms were dirty and nothing special for a "children's hospital." The wait time was relatively long. The doctor talked so fast, we could barely understand her. All we did understand was that the rash wasn't anything to be concerned with. In fact, she looked at us as if we were crazy for bringing him in so late. We tried to explain it was the result of the nurse line advice but it didn't stick. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! AGAIN THIS IS NOT AN URGENT CARE!! IT IS A NORMAL ER PER UC HEALTH'S CUSTOMER SERVICE LINE> THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR DECEPTION.
