It seems as though they did a good job on repairing the zipper on the dress I took in; however, they said it would $25. This price came from the women who did the alteration (and I believe is the owner). When I went to pick it up she would not give it to me without me paying $32. She said her son gave me the price for the wrong size zipper, but SHE was the one who came over to the register and told him what the price would be after looking at the dress. I understand that after getting a closer look she may have needed to adjust the price, but they had my phone number and never called to let me know. In addition, she was LAUGHING at me while I was trying to discuss this with her. I am very disappointed and frustrated. I did not have time to spend more than the 5 minutes I did trying to convey my point to her, and I was worried that if I left the dress I would come back to find it not there or ruined. VERY upsetting experience.

I was at work and decided to have my coat cleaned locally. Took overcoat into be Lakeside Cleaners. Was told that would be done by 5:30PM same day. Informed Jong that the coat had a musty odor at time of dropping off. At 5:30PM on same day-coat still not done. Returned next day to discover that coat still had musty odor and an additional ethinic food odor. Jong told me that it would take 3 or 4 times to clean to take out odor-but it was at my cost. I took coat to my regular cleaners and it was done properly after one cleaning-and I say one cleaning because it was obvious that Jong did not even do that. I will never return to Lakeside Cleaners and would highly suggest that others not even take that first trip. I have reported them to BBB.
