I wanted to have a chimney and fireplace inspected and cleaned at a rental property. I had concerns that there was a problem with the chimney or flue because there was smoke damage from the previous tenant. Al arrived promptly on the day of the appointment (only a 3 day wait for an appointment during the fall which was great!!) He inspected the flue and chimney and determined that I did not need a cleaning. He positioned the flue to remain open so it would not be a problem for my next tenant and said that the fireplace doors would control heat loss. He also gave instructions for log placement so we would not have the smoke problem again. He was honest, polite, and very helpful!! I have used various chimney sweeps over the years and I would highly recommend Al and will definitely use him again!!

I had received another bid from a competing Pittsburgh chimney company that was significantly more. The top several rows of brick were loose and the masonry was falling out. The job was done efficiently and appears to have been done well. The project went very well. They were done in one afternoon and they cleaned up everything after the job.
