I used this law firm. Mr. Cohn was on time for the hearing and he was prepared. I noticed that the Social Security people already had copies of my records and they even gave a disc of the records on them. Mr. Cohn did not need any papers as Social Security gave him a computer and the disc to use. I noticed another person said that he did not show up with his papers and that he was late. I saw many lawyers come in late as they appeared to all be coming from other courts. That other review looks like sour grapes because they lost their case. I do not believe that to be truthful.

I used this law firm with Mr. William Cohn representing me as my social security lawyer. The day of my court hearing, I walked in and the security guard asked me my name and the name of my attorney. When I gave him my attorney name, his reply were in the exact words, " Oh your attorney will be late," as if he had that bad reputation already. Truly, my attorney was late. When we got inside court, he did not have all of my medical records which caused a delay in my case. The judge gave him so many days to turn this information in and he was late doing that also. I have called his office at times for an update and left messages for him to call me back. I have never gotten a return phone call. I finally set up an appointment so that I could see him personally and was treated very cold. I feel after waiting on a disability court hearing for two and a half years, no client should ever have to experience this nightmare that I have. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS LAW FIRM TO ANYONE!!!!!!!!!!!

My impression is that Atty William Cohn has a very positive, caring and professional attitude in his practice helping others as a lawyer. He appears to be very hard working, experienced & successful, but is able to do this without giving an impression of being rushed causing stress or anxiety. those he is around (including the nice staff that work in his office). I am impressed with him as a attorney and a person.

The law firm firm cannot force anyone to sign papers. There is a review that states that the Law Firm was at fault because the reviewer's husband would not sign the divorce papers for a year. THAT IS NOT THE LAW FIRM'S FAULT. Clearly, this was a woman mad at her husband who was trying to take it out on the Law firm. All of the allegations are clearly made up and are nothing more than malicious..

I used this office for my divorce. I waited 6 months for my ex to actually sign the papers and then the 90 day wait period started. At appx 7pm the evening before my final hearing I got a call from his office informing me that he would not be in court in the am because I "was his only client scheduled at court and he did not think it was worth it to drive downtown for only 1 client." I had to wait another 3 weeks before my divorce was final. Then a few months later I found a mistake his office made on the parenting plan. I called his office and talked to them about what happened and what could be done. Mr Cohn informed me that it was not his office's mistake but it was my mistake because I signed off on the papers and he could not do anything for me unless I gave him $375 for an amendment. I called another lawyers office and found out I can go get the problem fixed myself for $104. I would not reccomend this lawyer to anyone for any reason. I feel that I was not treated the way any client deserves to be treated and I feel that he just wanted to take more of my money instead of inform me that I could rectify the situation on my own for less than half of what he wanted to take care of it. Divorce is bad enough without having an attorney make it more difficult.

I used this firm for my divorce and the attorneys here are top notch. I advised several friends to use this Firm and my husband alao used them when his ex TRIED to petition him for back rehabilative alimony when she had been living with someone for the past 4 years and gave up custody rights to him at the same time and my husband didn't even ask for child support from her. They are a great team and I would suggest anyone to use this Firm.
