Jack and Janelle's is my go to restaurant. The food is always good, great food choices, friendly staff and owners and service is very accommodating. Their salad bar is always fresh, with good choices and not overloaded with options. The really great thing is that you can always opt to have a salad or soup instead of fries, AT NO EXTRA CHARGE! I had the Friday catfish fry buffet today, and it was excellent! Did I mention their prices are very reasonable, and they will give you a senior discount. I don't have anything negative to say about this place. I suggest you try it!

My husband and I were moving across the country from Dallas to Oak Harbor Wa. After a long day we had a great homestyle meal. Great service and conversation with the owner Jack.

The staff was very unfriendly and not helpful. The atmosphere was shabby and cold. The food was so so and the waitress had a bad attitude. I have been inside this restaurant at least a dozen times and every time the staff is nasty and not helpful. The food is nothing to brag about. The waitress does not follow up once she brings the meal to our table. The owner was not friendly either.

Good value - not much to look at. Nobody works harder than these folks.
