General Info

Founded in 2008 as simply Ply, our goal has been and remains; to create memorable work with people and brands we believe in and enjoy working with. We are a true multi-disciplinary creative agency, working in both art and commercial environments, both product and advertising and often joining two or more together. We specialize in forming teams based on the nature of the project and the desired end result. We treat every project as a unique challenge rather than applying the same formula time and time again. We provide creative and art direction for products, photography, video, campaigns and environments. We then provide graphic and product design execution services to create immersive experiences that engage on every level, from social media to physical brand interactions. in 2008, when we decided on the Ply moniker, we were inspired by the process of creating plywood and in particular molded plywood used in skateboards and furniture. This process involves stripping a tree of it's veneers, then placing the venneers back together across their natural grain and pressing them with a small amount of glue, time and pressure either flat or in a specific mold. The resulting plywood is over 10 times stronger and flexible than the original solid hardwood. Illustrating again that the end result can be greater than the sum of it's parts. At Ply we think people and the creative process are not much different. We collaborate with different people from a variety of backgrounds on limited edition prints, products and commercial projects creating lasting work that not only achieves our clients goals but that we truly believe in.
