Established in 1971, Dialysis Clinic is a nonprofit organization that supports research in the area of end-stage renal disease treatment, including dialysis, organ procurement and transplantation and antirejection therapy. The organization has a staff of more than 4,000 employees. Its DCI Quality Management program is accredited by The Joint Commission. Dialysis Clinic is affiliated with universities and teaching hospitals throughout the United States. Some of its associations include the Medical University of South Carolina, Indiana University, State University of New York and University of Pittsburgh. The organization works in affiliation with DCI Donor Services, which is one of the largest organ and tissue recovery programs in the U.S. Dialysis Clinic additionally supports several local research, educational and nonprofit activities.
