I needed a leather bag made with my very own gator skin I purchased elsewhere. So I knew of a place I've passed quite often on the way to work. Max leather. I went inside and spoke with a young lady about making a purse with my own skins. Long story short she said she can do it! We talked prices I agreed they got straight to work! When I went to pick up my goodies, I was told I needed to pay before I can get my purse. Okay okay understandable if you say so. But however I informed the lady I want to see my purse first! So she brought my purse out the back wrapped in this pretty sheet like bag. When she pulled it out I immediately told her sorry honey but that's not my bag! She tried to convince me it was indeed my bag! It skin I brought in was real and real pretty the skin they showed was real fake! I told her I will call the police if she don't get my money and skins immediately! She said I had to wait til Max showed up which was next week! I said call him immediately! He's out the country nothing she could do! So I took a pretty gator coat and told her you have my address and phone number call me when max come back. And left.

Max Leather are con-artists. We commissioned them for a large project for a special event and it was a nightmare. The product was beyond poorly made, behind schedule, incorrect materials and overall a night-mare of an experience. Max was shady, a liar and made no attempt to correct his errors. His assistant/office manager was manipulating and made no attempt to try and right their wrong-doing. I would recommend anyone that is interested in using Max Leather run in the opposite direction.

I am a designer who chose Max Leather, Inc. for my manufacturer. Max lead me to believed that he was honest and that quality work was his number 1 focus. My experience was aweful. The craftmanship was extremely poor, yet he charged me full price and/or tried to charge me for corrections too. He told me that it would take 4-6 weeks when it actually took 8-12 weeks or more for completion. He would change the prices during the middle of production pressuring me for more money. I returned the same products (3) times as a result of severe malfunctions. The first time he said that my product was ready he had done nothing to repair them. The second time they neatly put them in a box presenting them to me saying that they were corrected when in reality they had done nothing to repair them. The third time they "Individually" wrapped them in gift paper leading me to believe that they were corrected and they weren't. It was at that time he said that he would have to make all of them all over again. It's been over 1 month, I have still yet to receive my "Paid In Full" product. I am now seeking legal counsel against Max Leather, Inc.
